Nisarg Nayak: A Brief Introduction

My name is Nisarg—though many call me Nis. I am passionate about empowering students to achieve their academic and personal goals. With a strong background in tutoring and a proven track record of helping students excel, I bring a unique teaching approach that goes beyond textbooks.

My journey began during my higher secondary school in India, where I was honored to be elected as General Secretary (GS)—thanks to the support of my professors and peers. As a GS, I was actively involved in various activities, but tutoring children in the absence of their teachers or supervising them was the most fascinating and fulfilling experience for me. This passion for teaching carried forward when I moved to Canada in 2022.

At Mohawk College, I was selected as a Peer Tutor, where I served for 1.5 years, helping many domestic as well as international students. My role involved solving complex practice problems, explaining challenging concepts in simple terms, and providing personalized support to students, including those with disabilities. Besides that, I taught competitive exams like IELTS and CELPIP online for six months, broadening my teaching experience.

Currently, I am tutoring mathematics to three students—two in high school and one in 5th-grade. Supporting these students has been rewarding experience as I help them build confidence and achieve their goals.

As a recent graduate of a software development course, I am excited to continue my tutoring journey with the same dedication and enthusiasm that has driven me from the start.

Whether you’re looking for help mastering a tricky subject, advanced math concepts, preparing for an exam, exploring programming fundamentals, or gaining new skills, I am here to guide you every step of the way.
